Paula

Greetings to you all! As a new member of the group I would like to introduce myself to you.

My name is Paula (well, duh!) and I live in Brisbane Australia.
In the muggle world (love that word - muggle, it trips happily off the tongue and laughs at itself in all of its delicious ridiculousness), I am a crone (58 and hanging in there), mother of 2, grandmother of 6 and housemate to a much loved elderly German shepherd cross and a very willful, precocious 3 yr old cat.

I work in disability support and spend my free time collecting knowledge, cards (the tarot kind) and crystals (ooh, look! Pretty shiny things!)

I have been a solitary practioner on a very eclectic journey for roughly 40 years now. But as I am getting older I am finding myself becoming more engaged with others who share my love of the witchy world. Now that I have more time in my life, I am able to become fully immersed in my craft. And I am loving it!

I always shied away from working with others although there have been times I have done so. It was more about the politics than often goes with group work, not the individual people. In all honesty, it was probably partly my own ego as well. Look at me being all self-actualized! 🤣
